Earlier in the year, franchisees within the Transworld network, were invited to partake in a bit of healthy-competitiveness, network-wide. The prize? A trip to Cancun, Mexico.

In the spring, Transworld UK franchisees were in with a competitive chance to join UK Managing Director, Henry Ziff, at the United Franchise Group’s annual EXPO. To win: Close as many deals as possible, in one quarter. The prize: A trip to Cancun, Mexico, during October. The Grand Moon Palace resort boasted 12 restaurants, 13 bars, a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, private beaches, and a spa to de-stress in after meetings and networking events.

And at this year’s EXPO, there was an extra special cause for celebration among the United Franchise Group. Transworld Business Advisors, one of their nine globally successful brands, turned 40!

“We wanted to create a new way to inspire the network, and reward their hard work over the last year.” Henry explains. “This appealed to the competitive nature of our franchisees, and so they were all behind the competition.”

The winner was Nilesh Wadhwani, one Transworld UK’s newer franchisees, who out-brokered the rest of the network, to secure his place in Cancun. “Nilesh, as a relatively new franchisee, did a great job in building his listings pipeline and closing the number of deals during the time we had allocated for the competition,” explains Henry.

Being new to Transworld, Nilesh would have had the opportunity to network with Transworld franchisees from around the world. Speaking to people who’ve been with Transworld for 5 years, alongside brokers who have worked for 20-30 years in the original Ft. Lauderdale office. “This is the value of being able to attend the event, to be able to speak directly with those who use the Transworld system, and have become very successful.”
